got a baaaad throat problem.... been coughing all day/night... such a horrid feeling :(

basically the last couple of days have been blah.. nothing exciting happening. yeah, it hasn't rained in two days, so thats a major plus point...

oh yeah... one big bit of news i got yesterday was that my mama is running the chicago marathon.. he's been training for the past 4 months... and he's almost 50!!! made me realise that i need to get off my butt and also get fit.. if he can do it at that age, hell, i shud be able to do it at half his age... so as of this morning, training has begun... wasn;t too great today coz of the constant cough but i'm sure it will get better... the cough and my stamina ;)

my wedding date draws closer and its scaring the daylights out of me... not coz my wife - in - waiting is bad or anything... infact, shes amazing... its just that the added responsibility is a lil over whelming and i tend to wonder how i will be able to manage it all. goto get so many things done b4 the wedding... lets hope it all goes smooth.. INSHALLAH!!!

back to the week with some serious monday blues.... got up this morning with my throth hurting like crazy... was coughing bad and it just made me NOT look forward to the coming week even more!!! but anyways, life does move on and so did i...

time for a flashback right now... to yeaterday, my weekend.. my supposed sunday. got off to a good start coz i went to the mandir at alandi... paid my respects ( read as maska) to god and headed home only to be stuck in a major jam which took me bout 45 mins to get out of.. damn these roads... but i had my music playin and the a/c running.. so it wasn;t all that bad :P .. chilled out the afternoon and then went out in the evening for a bit. actually, we were planning on watching mangal pandey at the club, but it was so damn crowded... we just canned the plan. the rest, well, just did nothing but hard core velapanti...

got to work at ten this morning.. gonna be here till atleast 8... eeks... what a FUN life i have... but some good things happening so no complaints i guess...

goto start going for a walk from tomo... goto get into shape... but its soooo hard to get out of the blanket first thing in the morning... and i'm someone who can sleep for days at an end.. so for me it;s a herculian task... i try all sorts of things... keep an alarm far away from the bed so i HAVE to get up to shut the damn thing off... so now ur thinking... problem solved!!! nope.. here's what normally happens .. a) i keep sleeping despite the constant ringing every 5 mins... b) i get up.. switch the damn thing off, and go right back to bed.. :) .. well, new day tomo.. hope i get up.

i read a really nice quote at the end of an email a friend sent... it goes something like this... "love... like you've never been hurt before.. coz only then do u truly love with all ur heart" .. something to think bout.. something to follow... don't u think??

helllooooooooooooooo again... guess how many people actually read my blog?? NONE!! hahaha.... not that i expected anyone to... :P

saturday evening is finally here and i'm thrilled... why? coz i get to chill out tonight and sleep till late tomorrow. believe u me i need the rest... i really look forward to the weekends.. just chill out, watch a movie... do basically nothing constructive.. :)

i wasn't in this good a mood this morning though... i was reading the paper and guess what? they're gonna be cutting the power for 2-3 hrs everyday again!!god damn!! i mean, earlier it was being done coz of low rains.. and now.. after we've had killer rains, the excuse they're giving is energy conservation!!! what a load of bull crap. i mean, if u need to conserve power, don;t leave the street lights on thru the day... don't let people steal power... dont give free power to farmers who are possibly the most cash rich to be able to pay for their power use!!! arrrrrrgggggghhhhh ... well.. anyways.. thats just the way it is....

u know, in times of need, very few people do stand by u. i'm blessed to have a few friends who do stand by me. one of them helped me out big time today.. and though i know he may never read this.. is still want him to know i'm very grateful and hope i can return the kindness someday. who it is? well.. the person knows who he is.. and thats all that matters.

arrrrrggggghhhh!!! it rained again in Pune.. and heavy at that... i'm begining to get really annoyed with the damn rains. i was just begining to enjoy the day when suddenly it started pouring. the met dept had predicted rains but then when r they EVER right? turns out they got lucky today. now i don't actually mind the rain..its the after effects this piss me off.. most roads are flooded, theres muck everywhere... and its all basically messed up!!!

what did brighten up my day today was a good joke i happened to read on the net... if ur reading this i'll share it with u .. isn't that just typical??? goes to prove that men are from a totally diff planet than women. the thinking is sooooooo opposite to each other. i'm sure most men reading this must have a scowl and the women must be smirking away to glory ... women women women... they are by far the most complicated things to understand ... maybe they shud have a pHD course and teach all men bout women... and even then i'm sure the guy who graduates top of the class would immediately meet a woman who goes against everything he has learnt in his phd!!! so why bother... yeah... bad idea.... :P

oh yeah.. i watched no entry last night... good movie in parts... but like all other hindi movies, they stretched it for more than it was worth.. salman khan was awesome in the movie while anil kapoor looked old and what was with his hair? sometimes its brown, sometimes its black.. and his mooch keeps changing shape!!! umm..hello!!! ever heard of continuity??? damn ..
